The game's free patch is available on February 5 for current Dark Souls II players, and it is included in the release of Scholar of the First Sin on April 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The company has also detailed the contents of a February patch for all Dark Souls II players. Publisher Bandai Namco has released a handful of new screens for Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin – the remastered version of the 2014 title featuring all of the game's DLC and other enhancements, and which is the series' first appearance on the new home consoles.
